Oliver Church of Christ

    The Oliver Church of Christ has a long history dating back to the late 1800's.  It first met in the Potters Spring community, about a mile north of its present loaction.  It has been meeting at its present location on Highway 72 for approximately 110 years.  The property deed is dated 1891.  Oliver is one of the oldest congregations in Lauderdale County. 

    However, the Church was established long before this.  The Church was established by our Lord and Savior on Pentecost about 2000 years ago.   The mission of the Church is to "seek and save the lost", and "preach and teach the gospel".  We want to glorify God through the salvation of souls.
